The Miscarriage Support Group Plan (Curriculum) was created to help communities and individuals to create a space for grief and healing following a miscarriage or early loss. This group plan goes through 5 lessons each dedicated to the process of healing. This booklet can be used to create support groups, workshops, lectures, or be used to learn more about loss from a miscarriage and/or personal grieving and healing. We hope to create a culture inline with the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (ʿa) and break the stigma around this loss. Each lesson includes:
- An Icebreaker
- Education on a subject related to grief and healing
- Questions to facilitate conversation around a topic
- Related activity
- A mindfulness exercise
