AL-Kisa Hy-tech Initiative (AKHI)
Led by Shk. Shahid, the vision of AKHI is to have Shia Muslims emerge as a leading force in India’s education landscape, with a significant presence in prestigious institutions and a commitment to academic excellence. In an overview it is;
- A Residential program, with focus on academics, limiting distractions
- Using Hybrid model of online and in-person classes
- Preparing students for their 10th, 12th and entrance exams namely JEE & NEET.
- The focus of AKHI is on children who are orphans and/or from underprivileged background
- 45 children are enrolled in the current batch
Our Mission
The mission for Al-Kisa Foundation is to nurture the holistic growth of individuals, families, and communities by creating infrastructure, open source resources and services in pursuit of and following the teachings of the Noble Qurʾān and Ahl al-Bayt (ʿa).

The AKHI program also cultivates spirituality in the students to give them the tools to not only survive but thrive as Shīʿah Muslims.
The Students of Imām as-Sajjād (ʿa) is a Muharram program, which aims to gain inspiration from his contribution towards Islam.
